LEADER: When they put the Son of God on a cross, he died. But the mourning only lasted for 3 days.
CHURCH: He is alive.
LEADER: They pierced His side. Then they buried him in a tomb and sealed it with a massive stone. But that didn’t stop the Son of God.
CHURCH: He is alive.
LEADER: They scoffed at Him. They called Him a liar and a fraud. He responded in love. That same love lives on in us.
CHURCH: He is alive.
LEADER: When days seem dark, His light shines brighter. The light shines in the darkness and cannot be overcome.
CHURCH: He is alive.
LEADER: When evil shows its face and the world feels lost, we still have hope.
CHURCH: He is alive.
LEADER: We often feel anxious, worried, or stressed and feel the weight of the world on our shoulders, but He says “Come all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. My yoke is easy and my burden is light.”
CHURCH: He is alive.
LEADER: The same God who conquered death lives in us. He can conquer whatever we are facing.
CHURCH: He is alive.
LEADER: The fears, the addictions, the sickness, the broken relationships. He can overcome.
CHURCH: He is alive.
LEADER: He is risen!
CHURCH: He is alive.
